Guest Info:

Eric Mishne

Eric has attended UBC since 2019 and is a Professor of Communication and Speech & Debate Coach at Cedarville University. He is a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, bordering on a snob. He and his wife, Natalie, live in Xenia. They love to travel, especially internationally. Together, they have nearly 100 houseplants and are always busy playing games, cooking, or planning their next adventure.

Sharon Kerestes

Sharon works at Cedarville University, where she has served as the Curriculum Materials Center Librarian since 2012. She works primarily with the university's Education majors and faculty and enjoys the variety this position offers, including teaching, selecting and organizing resources, and supervising student employees.

She has served on UBC's Core Mission Team in various roles since 2021 and is currently working to revive the refugee and international engagement ministry. She also has a TESOL certificate and volunteers as a teacher with an ESL ministry at South Dayton Presbyterian Church in Kettering.

She likes coffee, cats, learning about other cultures, British TV, crafts, and books, of course!

Jason Wing

Jason is a devoted follower of Jesus and a loving husband to Rachel. Together, they have a wonderful family with their children: Reagan, Gideon, Jonny, and Liberty. Jason is the Lead Pastor at University Baptist Church (2018).

When he’s not at church, he enjoys coffee or fishing at the beach. He loves audiobooks and discussing fantasy football and CrossFit. Most of all, he values efficient meetings with pre-set agendas.

Jim Corbin

Jim and his wife, Sandy, are passionate about partnering and planting churches through short-term trips by training, equipping, and mobilizing.

After serving in the Air Force for 11 years, during which he earned a Master of Science in Systems Management, Jim went on to have many successful years in the IT industry. In 2020, he finished his time in the corporate world to pursue full-time ministry.

Jim serves as an Elder at UBC (2024) and oversees UBC’s Missions & Mercy Ministries (2022). Jim also serves through e3 Partners (2012) and currently holds the position of Strategy Coordinator (2018) for Argentina and Northern Uganda. He is also the Great Commission Connector for the Greater Dayton Association of Baptists (GDAB) (2023).

When Jim and Sandy aren’t serving on the mission field, they enjoy spending time with their two children and six grandchildren, as well as cheering on all Pittsburgh sports teams.

Jen has a heart to offer hope and healing through faithful application of biblical and practical tools to navigate living in a fallen world. Whether you find her in the shade near a hut in Northern Uganda or in the counseling room, nothing brings her greater joy than introducing someone to the good news of the gospel for the first time or supporting them in the ongoing process of spiritual growth and transformation. It is her desire to come alongside others and help them to actively embrace the gospel message on a daily basis, walk in faith, and bear fruit as a result of God’s work in their lives.
